Join our Tax Department as a Team Leader and play a key role in managing complex tax engagements for international clients. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to lead our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to mentor talented professionals, drive technical excellence and contribute to the growth of a dynamic advisory practice serving top-tier corporate and regulated clients.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, computations and supporting schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance on tax advisory projects, including restructurings, tax due diligence, tax risk assessments and cross-border tax matters.
  • Conduct research on local and international tax legislation, circulars, double tax treaties and emerging tax developments.
  • Support tax audits by drafting responses, preparing analyses and liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, high quality and timely completion.
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback and support for professional development.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals and tax updates.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions and support business development initiatives.

Profile of the ideal candidate

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree will be considered a plus.
  • Professional qualification in Accounting (ACA/ACCA/CPA) or Tax (ADIT) or actively pursuing one.
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in tax within a professional services environment, ideally with exposure to international clients.
  • Proven experience managing small to medium-sized engagements and supervising junior staff.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cypriot tax legislation and international tax principles, with the ability to provide practical solutions.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, able to explain complex matters to clients and team members.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members and encourage knowledge sharing.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive client service mindset.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
