Nicholas started his career with a boutique business and tax advisory firm in London, where he worked for a total of seven years, advising private and public UK companies of all sizes and industries with their tax and corporate affairs. He has been with Abacus for the past 15 years as a senior member of our firm’s international business advisory service line, advising and supporting major international groups in infrastructure, transportation, private equity, and technology.
As of January 2025, Nicholas has been appointed as our firm’s Head of Business Process and Service Excellence. In his role, Nicholas drives firm-wide operational excellence by ensuring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of all internal processes and service delivery. He leads continuous process and digital transformation, oversees systems optimisation, strengthens internal controls and audits, and champions a culture of innovation, consistency, and client-centric excellence across all service lines.
Nicholas has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Kent University in the UK and is a qualified chartered accountant under the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also holder of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) Advanced Certificate in Financial Services legal framework.
