George is an international tax specialist with 15+ years of experience advising and supporting multinationals, private equity houses, venture capital groups, family offices and other clients with planning, transactional and compliance matters that impact their business. George started his career with a Big 4 firm, worked in multiple countries within Europe and has been with Abacus for the past 9 years, acting as Tax Lead and advisor to a number of clients from Europe, US and Canada.
George holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Edinburgh. George is also member of the Army Reserve and has been trained on various missions as part of the EU Battlegroup response force.
